Donate to Millvale Community Library
The Millvale Library is committed to financial sustainability because we believe that we provide important services to the community that should not be compromised, regardless of outside funding. We maintain our facility and basic functions through the revenue we generate by renting the two apartments above the library and the non-profit space neighboring the library.
Our other initiatives, such as programming, special events, facility improvements, and staffing increases, are all made possible by library funders and donors like you! We appreciate all individual donations, and use them to ensure that we are providing the best possible services to our patrons and our community. We are always accepting monetary donations by cash or check, in person or via mail. Checks can be made out to the Millvale Library. We also have a Donate button in the footer of our website. Our Memorial or Honor Donation & Gift Book Program
A memorial gift or honor donation to the Millvale Community Library is a meaningful way to pay tribute to the memory of a loved one, honor someone, or celebrate a birthday or other event. Monetary donations of new books/materials may be mailed or dropped off at the library during regular business hours. When mailing, please be sure to include the donor’s name and address along with the name of the loved one for whom the gift is being made.

We occasionally accept donations of materials, depending on our needs at the time. Please contact the library at 412.822.7081 to inquire about specific items.
We are not accepting book donations at this time. Unfortunately, our space at the MCL is very limited. Please consider donating your unwanted books to either Shaler North Hills Library, for their annual book sale, or to “Book ‘Em,” a program through the Thomas Merton Center that puts books in the hands of inmates.
